Also, in the last month, I have been diagnosed with a blood circulation disorder/syndrome.. have fun with Dr. Google on this one..  it's called Raynaud's Syndrome!  Please don't allow the pictures you will see to think that I am on the extreme end of it, b/c I am not...but it's something I have been told that I am going to have to monitor and pay attention to....FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! 

When you look at the diseases and medical conditions it is associated with, so far I am clear, my blood work came out incredible. No Diabetes, No Lupus, No Anaemia, Kidneys are Rock Stars, Thyroid is Fine and generally, I am tip-top...whatever that means!



AWESOME!!  Is there an ACRONYM that I can add to my running list please, b/c I really need more CHARACTER!

longest...blog break....ever for me

I seriously think, this is the longest pause in blogging I have ever taken...and this wasn't even planned!  I apologize for being MIA, I started a new Temp job that is full time at UMASS, and I have been mentally drained by the time I get home...so blogging has gone on the back burner, unfortunately...b/c I really love blogging, it's kind of my stress reducer...even if I am not blogging, I tend to still comment, but not in this last month!  "WAHHHHH" as Snooki would say! Also, besides starting at UMASS...I also started being a Stella & Dot Stylist!  More on all of this later.  I promise to blog this weekend....

Can you believe I posted this ABOUT us having a PLAN last March 30th 2010?

And then, that our plan was ADOPTION (just a few days after announcing we had a plan).....wow, so many emotions and feelings....I honestly was a mess last month for some reason, I think it's because that was the month (March) Pat and I decide we were going to adopt before pursuing IVF....crazy.

BTW, Pat and I celebrated our 4 year Homeowner Anniversary on 4/2/11!  :)

Can't wait to dump my thoughts, emotions, feelings, joys, and rants into blog posts this weekend and into next week....I have missed reading and following ALL of you in the last month, and I missed my MAGMC blog!

Owl Post Office Getaway

Over the weekend, Patrick and I with our dog Tek (this was Tek's first vacation), took a 5 hour drive up to Owls Head Maine for Patrick's 31st Birthday (3/5/2011 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY WONDERFUL HUBBY, I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!) We arrived on Friday around lunch time, my parents arrived around dinner time, and Patrick's parents and youngest brother arrive around lunch time on Saturday.  The 7 of us (plus a dog) stayed in THIS fantastic place....I originally blogged about our plans to stay there back in FEBRUARY.

I took so many pictures of all the nicknack's that were perfectly placed throughout the space as well as all the different views of the rooms and lofts....after compiling 6 collages of the best of my pictures that I took with my camera (I still need to put the pictures that I took on my phone, onto my computer)...I emailed the owner of the rental to THANK him and his wife for making our stay so comfortable and to let him know that we are looking forward to planning another weekend getaway to his place in the Spring or Fall....

The weather sucked when we were there....constant rain....we would have rather the snow....b/c it would have been easier to to the things that we had planned originally like snow tubing...but we made the best of the rainy weekend and went around to the locals shops, ate fantastic food, went to a local car museum, tried to see the light houses but the road was an ice rink and we couldn't even get to it.....apparently the DPW in Maine doesn't care about putting sand/salt down on that road....and enjoyed each others company when we were back at the rental, by playing Scrabble and Cards!

The 7 of us had dinner at an Italian restaurant called Rustica Cucina in Rockland, Maine for Patrick's 31st birthday dinner...I am a little annoyed that their website is just one page, but I found this page that gives you a better overview about the restaurant!  I swear that I would plan a trip to Rockland/Owls Head Maine area again, and have it be shitty weather, and this restaurant will make it all better!  That's how fantastic the food was!

**please excuse the overuse of the word FANTASTIC in this post haha**

February Vacation in MA & CT means....

my mom and I get to enjoy Vivian And Luca for 3 days.

(this post is late...so I am back dating it, so it won't be completely out of order, but I posted here about needing to post about it).

So in MA and CT...and most of the "northeast" the schools have February Vacation (and then get vaca again in April) for a week....so my mom and I drop down to meet my sister half way....which ends up being Wallingford, CT...which so happens to be the only town in NEW ENGLAND that has a SONIC! We met her on Wednesday, Feb. 23rd (where my mom and I had lunch at Sonic before meeting my sister in the BJ's parking lot across the street), and then we swapped cars...

On Thursday, We took the two little ones up to the Original Yankee Candle, in S. Deerfield, MA and ate at Chandler's.  Luca dipped candles for his parents, sat in Santa's slay, met Santa (whom was in his "street/working" clothes...jeans, a t-shirt and suspenders), got a shark painted on his hand instead of his face, and then got to make a bear for himself and a puppy for Vivian at the build-a-bear there. We had a really nice time with them and they were so well behaved all day and even through lunch.

On Friday, my mom and I drove them back to Wallingford, swapped cars, and she and I went back to Sonic for lunch!  Haha!  And then we drove another 30 minutes south to New Haven, CT to go to Ikea...We had a really nice time, and bought a bunch of stuff (especially for the baby nursery...which I will post pictures of once I have it all up and ready for pictures to be taken).

last day of February...

Wow, this winter is going by quickly...and I have been lacking on blogging since finishing my 30 blog challenge.  I apologize.  Sometimes posts are better done with bullet points, so here I go:

• I need to still do a Adoption update for our January and February status (regarding the numbers for profile presenting)
• My dear friend Jeanna welcomed Owen into the world, and I can't wait to plan a trip to NC to see the family of three!
• 5 days until Patrick's 31st birthday!
• 4 days until our trip to Owl's Head Maine!
• I need to post about my 3 days last week with my nephew Luca and goddaughter Vivian (my parents had the little ones for part of the week, and I kept busy with my mom and chasing after Vivian who is running around like a mad women)

.....The dog is barking, which is completely distracting me of anything else that I wanted to put on this post....

Sick Husband on Valentine's Day is My Norm

soooo, do you remember last Valentine's Day 2010?  what you did?  how you celebrated? 

Well, last year my Valentine's Day SUCKED to put it simply....and guess what...so did this year....but at least it wasn't spent in the ER and having McDonald's for dinner like last year.  Pat came home from work, not feeling so great, so instead of being a snot and forcing him to make the special dinner he planned on making me us, I made the dinner...and had some chocolate covered strawberries I had made us earlier in the day, and he went to bed early...like 9pm....while I sat on the couch drinking some wine.

Fast forward to today, he felt even worse...left work early and went to the doctors...he found out he has bronchitis...his doctor even joked that he is going to start sending me a Valentines card each year with medicine attached...for a "just in case" moment....haha...funny guy!

I do feel bad, that my hubby keeps getting sick on Valentines day, I love him very much.
